Bitcoin payments through BitPay suspended

Update (07/03/2018): BitPay payment gateway has been re-enabled as the BTC average transaction fees are back to normal.

Bitcoin has become a high-speculative asset, not viable for payments anymore due to huge transaction fees and confirmations delays. For this unfortunate reason, our main BTC payment processor, Bitpay, has just announced that minimum BTC payments must be $100. Effective immediately, we are suspending payments through Bitpay until, hopefully, the devs involved in the Bitcoin development will find a way to solve this long-lasting, frustrating scalability problem.

BitPay announcement: Why We're Updating the Minimum BitPay Payment Amount to $100

Many altcoins are still accepted as payment through coinpayments.net, such as: Litecoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Ripple, Monero, Dogecoin, MonetaryUnit, Namecoin and others. Bitcoin payments are also accepted via coinpayments.net, but not encouraged as long as the scalability issue exists.
We've been long-term supporters of Bitcoin and the blockchain technology, but given the current issues, we can only recommend to look into diversifying the ways of addopting and making low-fee payments using other crypto-currencies.
